SolidSMILES Dental

General Dentistry located in Lewisville, TX

At SolidSMILES Dental, fellowship-trained general dentist Hiral Patel, DDS, provides high-quality oral health care to people of all ages in Lewisville, Texas, and Denton County.

Dr. Patel was born and raised right here in Dallas, and like a true Texan, attended The University of Texas at Austin and completed her undergraduate degree in human development and family and sciences. She earned her doctorate degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and graduated top of her class with Honors.

SolidSMILES Dental is a full-service dentistry practice. Dr. Patel and her staff provide preventive, general, and cosmetic dentistry, including dental extractions, teeth whitening, periodontal treatment, and temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD) treatment. Patients can also access orthodontic treatment with Invisalign and dental restorations, such as porcelain crowns, dental implants, and dentures.

The practice is conveniently located and features cutting-edge dental technology, including iTero intraoral scanners, digital X-rays, and paperless dental software. Dr. Patel uses a local dental lab for restorations and custom shading, providing quick turnaround times and cost savings.

Dr. Patel prides herself on being authentically personal. Instead of taking a “one smile fits all” treatment approach, she develops personalized care plans, involving patients in every step of the treatment process. Dr. Patel listens to each person’s concerns and treatment goals and develops personalized oral health plans based on that information.

SolidSMILES Dental has a welcoming and spalike environment. Each exam room has a TV, customized music, and cozy blankets to provide a comfortable and relaxing patient experience. For those with dental anxiety or sensitive teeth, Dr. Patel provides sedation dentistry.

Dr. Patel offers flexible office hours to accommodate busy schedules. She also provides free smile makeover consultations, allowing patients to weigh the pros and cons of treatment before moving forward.

Kois Dentists are Passionate About What They Do.
They look forward to Monday. They love the work week and they love to work with their patients. Itā€™s a different kind of dentistry. They are passionate about what they do or they wouldnā€™t do it. They are not just a good dentist, they are a great dentist. Their patients are their friends, neighbors, and they see them in the grocery store and they want to be proud of what theyā€™ve done.

The Kois Center is part of an educational network inspired by Dr. John Kois and populated by Kois trained dentists who have made a commitment to a rigorous education program. Many Graduates go on to become Mentors and Clinical Instructors returning to help the next generation of dentists go from good to great. Iā€™M AN FAGD DENTIST!
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY?

FAGD stands for Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Earning Fellowship takes dedication to dental continuing education (CE) beyond graduation. Only about 6 percent of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada are AGD Fellows. When you see a dentist with FAGD after their name, you can rest assured that they care about knowing the latest techniques and best practices in dentistry. AGD Fellows practice these techniques in a classroom setting multiple times a year ā€” not every dentist does this.

To become an AGD Fellow, a dentist must: - Complete over 500 credit hours of CE.
- Earn 350 of those 500 credits in live courses. - Pass an exam equal in difficulty to board certification exams.
